Paul has been involved in Catholic Education for over 35 years. His teaching career began at Cardinal Pole Catholic Secondary School in Hackney where he became Head of Science and Head of Year.

He was the appointed as Deputy Head at Mount Carmel Catholic School in Islington eventually becoming Headteacher. He served as Headteacher for 14 years.

After a brief retirement he became Executive Headteacher of Sion Manning Catholic School in Ladbrook Grove. He relocated to Cheltenham in 2016 and joined the Department of Schools and Colleges in 2018.

He has been involved in School Governance across three diocese Westminster, Brentwood and Clifton at both Primary and Secondary level.He is currently a Governor/ Director of three schools in the diocese.
